James A. Simpson, Jr.
Experience
Jimmy began his practice in general, civil, and criminal work in 1995. He has earned quite a reputation for himself through his successful practice in the Searcy area. He has also been providing assistance in various personal injury cases, product liability cases, and medical malpractice cases.
Jimmy's experience includes the following:
- Civil jury trial experience in cases involving personal injury, fire claims, intentional tort and battery, claims against insurance companies, contract litigation, medical malpractice claims, and personal injury while working on a natural gas pipeline
- Negotiation of million-dollar settlements
- Federal and state jury trial experience as lead attorney
- Served as a special judge in civil and criminal trials
- Served as a city court judge for the City of Bradford for four years

Hobbies and Community Activities
Jimmy enjoys golf, hunting, fishing, boating, and other outdoor activities. Jimmy was a letterman for the University of Arkansas Razorbacks football teams of 1986, 1987, and 1988. He has coached little league football and basketball.
Clay Eliot Simpson
Experience
Clay Simpson also has a very successful legal career. He has held several positions with a wide range of responsibilities.
As a former Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the Sixth Judicial District, Little Rock, he has handled a variety of cases involving crimes against persons, drug-related crimes, and crimes involving property.

- Managed the division's attorneys and litigation on a day-to-day basis
- Prosecuted various crimes throughout the state involving insurance fraud
- Actively participated in the investigation and jury and bench trials of criminal defendants
- Prosecuted one of the largest staged auto collision rings in Arkansas history, with the jury sentencing of participants to 77 years in prison
As a former General Counsel of Transamerica Worksite Marketing, Little Rock, he has overseen several key areas.
- Managed litigation for a $400 million division of this global insurance company
- Advised division president, chief operation officer, chief marketing officer, and other division officers of various legal strategies concerning business operations
- Provided legal support for various business issues to department supervisors of contracts, customer service, claims, marketing, actuary, IT, and new business, and to division sales agents
